Kind of predictable who would be on this list. Hope Kruger is wearing a pumpkin colored hat next season.

i wouldn't mind him at the right price
A source with knowledge of the situation tells Profootballtalk "multiple" teams that run 3-4 defenses are interested in free agent DE Cliff Avril.
We already know one, as the Cleveland Plain Dealer reported Wednesday the Browns are interested in the soon-to-be former Detroit Lion. PFT's source doesn't name names, but with their ample cap space and need for pass rushers, the Colts are another good bet. Touted as scheme versatile by Lions GM Martin Mayhew, Avril likely wouldn't have much trouble converting to outside linebacker, which he played in college.

the above post is usually just my opinion, and may or may not be shared by some members of the browns organization.
I didn't know that Avril was only 26...................Wowee! I don't understand the interest in Desmond Bryant, though. Would they be thinking of using him at the other DE spot, I wonder.

Yep, Stabbs - I was shocked to see he is only 26. Just moved up on my list.

I don't want Kruger. I just don't have a good feeling about him. I think he will be way overpaid wherever he goes, and I really don't think the numbers on the field will match the numbers in the bank account.
My wish list, not in any particular order...
Offense:
Guard: Levitre, Moore or Vasquez. Vasquez would be more affordable, plus the connection with Norv.
WR: There aren't many that I think would truly improve our WR corp. I'd be good with either Wallace or Jennings.
TE: A combination of Cook and Bennet, plus Delanie Walker.
Defense:
DE: Not sure who is out there that is a good depth guy for a 3-4 DE, but we could use 1.
OLB: Not to big on anyone available, but with the new info out on Avrill, I'd be fine with him. Some solid depth here is also needed.
ILB: Ellerbe would be a wet dream come true. Learned the game from one of the best ILB's ever to play the game.
CB: I really am only too excited about 2 players at CB. There are many good players available, and most would be upgrades, but I really want either Sean Smith or Keenan Lewis.
S: One name... Dashon Goldson. Another wet dream come true.
