Wilson should quickly resurface as an RBs coach while the Browns continue their OC search.

The play caller doesn't call but 3 runs in the second half of games but he fires the running backs coach. Makes perfect sense.

It's becoming obvious what their strategy is - Hue is retained, but essentially everyone around him, and the front office, is being changed. They're boxing him in.

Which means, he WILL hire an OC. And he WILL let the OC call the plays. And he WILL play who he is told to play.

You're not fired, but by the end of this, you will wish you were.

Dorsey has enough power to pull this off - aka the only way that Hue keeps his job in 2019 is if he wins big in 2018.

If he starts 0-4 or 1-3, he's gone. EVERYTHING around him has been upgraded, meanwhile he's still employed with 1-31 around his neck. So he best upgrade that won-loss record, and real quick.

Especially if we have what is considered by many as a strong free agency period and a promising draft

Of course if all these moves are being made to box Hue into a corner so you can fire him later - why not beat the rush and do it now?

There's zero reason to not win. Zero. He either delivers wins or he's gone.

Well, I'm still going to support the man regardless of the all negative feelings being shown. I think I might just save some to go back to a year from now to review. I just like the man and believe in him that he can be a head coach for the Browns regardless.

The thing I can't believe and/or understand is how Haslam is gullible enough to stick with Hue, he's clearly not a good HC, 1-31 is all the proof that I need. Had he went 8-8 this season, I'd say different but he did not do that. So, I gotta wonder why we don't fire him now (or as soon as the season ended) and the only answer I can come up with is that Haslam says he stays, as in, Hue has pulled the wool over the Haslam's eyes.

I would have fired him immediately and told Dorsey to find us a good HC. Therefore, I do agree with zip, if Hue has a bad start, he's almost certainly gone, whether it be midseason or end of season is the only question.

I "like" him too. He seems like a nice guy & I would love to do beers with him.

But this isn't a likability contest. He's not being paid to be liked. He has to deliver.
