Well, among other things, this season is about finding out if Kizer can play. It's not looking good. So fine - the 2018 draft is supposed to have a number of top QB prospects, and the way this season is going, we're gonna have our pick of which one we want. So be it.

It's not like we spent a first rounder on Kizer. A 2nd round pick for a QB is like a 4th or 5th round pick for other positions based on value. If we have the first pick, go with the top guy.
Back, but did I ever truly leave?

Right, and people have to remember that. Kizer was a value pick...the 4th player we took in the draft. If he doesn't work out it's no biggie.

We might as well keep losing now (not that we really need any help in doing that - we blow donkeys) & get the top pick & take Darnold or whoever the top QB prospect is.

We have plenty of company in the oh-fer club.

    Niners & Giants.

For only 5 weeks in, that's not a lot of company.

Well, 3 oh-fer teams at week 5 is not good, usually even a bad team will have a win by now. This could be quite the race for number one. Also, with J.J. Watt getting hurt, Houston could fall a bit more and we could end up with 2 top 10 or even top 5 picks. So, we could have a top QB and a top WR prospect.

    Thats plenty of company.
The Giants have lost three top receivers for the season.
San Fran is a bad team.
The bright side is they play each other in November, so one of them will come out with a win.
I still think the Browns win a game or two. So yes theres plenty of company for that #1 pick.
