    He spent the past 3 seasons in Cincinnati


    The Cleveland Browns have claimed WR James Wright via waivers from Cincinnati.


    Wright is 6-0, 203 pounds and is entering his fourth NFL season out of LSU. Originally a seventh-round draft pick by Cincinnati in 2014, Wright has appeared in 24 games with two starts. He has recorded 18 receptions for 197 yards and added five rushes for 24 yards. He also has registered 16 career special teams tackles. Last season, he appeared in 13 games and logged 13 receptions for 106 yards and finished second on the Bengals with 11 special teams tackles.

    the Bengals have been raided a bit this off season. lol Might be decent depth WR but sounds like he'll be used on ST and that is an area we should not forget to improve.

    who's the other gunner? Aren't there usually two, why not both of them? Either way, improving the ST is important and often overlooked.

    Maher spent past three seasons playing in the CFL



    Maher is 6-0, 186 pounds and is officially entering his first NFL season out of Nebraska. Originally signed by the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2013, Maher has spent time on the rosters of the Jets and Cowboys. He has spent the last three seasons playing in the CFL with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Ottawa Redblacks and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Last season for Hamilton, he connected on 41 of 50 field goal attempts and scored 161 points.

    Well, we know he can kick in the cold and the wind. And with the wider (and longer) field kicking is a bit harder in the CFL. 82% is pretty darned good.
